The Pearland Recreation Center & Natatorium is committed to providing a healthy, safe and secure environment to meet the developmental needs of your child while you enjoy your workout. Kidz Korner is available for children 6 months to 11 years.

To accomplish our goal of high quality childcare, we ask that you assist with the following:

1. Kidz Korner has implemented a safe and secure check-in solution provided by KidCheck. Prior to your first visit, please create a free KidCheck account.
2. Visit the center with your child prior to your first workout so that he/she can become familiar with the environment.
3. Give your child an accurate time frame for your workout with each visit.
4. If possible, please feed your infant or toddler before bringing him/her to the center.

Hours of Operation

• Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. & 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
• Friday - Saturday: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Rules

1. Parent/guardian must sign children in and out for each visit.
2. Guest children are allowed in the center; however member's children are given priority for available space.
3. There is a 2 hour maximum for each visit.
4. Parents/guardians are responsible for diaper changes.
5. Parents/guardians are required to remain in the facility while the child is in the Kidz Korner.
6. Parents/guardians must provide all necessary items for their child(ren).
7. Children ages 2 and up must wear shoes at all times. Children 12 months or younger must wear booties or socks.
8. After 10 minutes of crying, screaming or any other behavior that is deemed as a disturbance, the parent/guardian will be asked to come and check on the child.
9. The City of Pearland is not responsible for lost, stolen or broken items brought into the Kidz Korner.
10. Children will be allowed to leave the center only with the person that signed them in, unless prior arrangements have been made.
11. Children can only be left in the center when one or both parents are on the premises or participating in RCN-sponsored activities.
12. Due to allergies, food and drink are not allowed in the Kidz Korner, but a labeled water bottle is permitted.

Please do not bring children to the center that show any of the following symptoms of illness.

• Fever in the last 24-hour period
• A heavy nasal discharge
• Constant cough
• Unusual rash
• Diarrhea or upset stomach
• Excessive crankiness
