In preparation of improving city parks, open space areas, trail and sidewalk connectivity and recreational programming, the City of Pearland will host an open house on Wednesday, August 14th to gather public feedback for the new Parks Master Plan and the Multi-Modal Master Plan. The open house will take place from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Public Safety Building (2555 Cullen Parkway) in the 2nd Floor Training Room.

The open house will focus on pedestrian routes and safety, such as sidewalks and trails, as well as parks and recreational play areas.  

Residents will meet with City Staff and members of City consultant Halff Associates, view base map boards and project objectives, participate in a mapping exercise, and fill out a survey. The City values input from residents on the quality, condition, and character of city parks, trails and sidewalks to better understand resident wants and needs.

To promote a two-way dialogue, City staff and consultants are also prepared to answer residents’ questions regarding Pearland parks and provide information on the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan and the Multi-Modal Master Plan.
