Hometown Christmas Festival

Location: Independence Park, 3449 Pearland Parkway

Parking: General parking will be at Pearland Highschool (3775 S. Main)

and ADA parking available at the Independence Park Liberty Drive Entrance

Cost: Admission is Free

Feel the Christmas Spirit come alive as Pearland Parks & Recreation kicks off the Hometown Christmas Festival. Join us for an evening of stage entertainment, shopping, music, lights, inflatables, food trucks and much more! Our lively stage program will feature a visit from City Council, community leaders, Santa Claus and Mayor Cole as they come together to spread Christmas cheer for Pearlanders far and near.

Spend some time playing in the snow at the HEB Winter Wonderland and stick around for the magical Drone show presented by University of Houston Clear Lake at Pearland beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Hometown Christmas Parade

 

Date: Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024

Time: 6 p.m.

Location: FM 518 (Broadway), from Old Alvin Road to Pearland Parkway 

 

The City of Pearland is excited to host the 42nd annual Hometown Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 6 p.m. The evening parade brings out dozens of floats and walking groups decked out in lights and holiday spirit. Spectators will see marching drill teams, unique classic cars, dazzling floats and so much more!

2024 Parade Applications are CLOSED. 
   * Applications for the 2025 Hometown Christmas Parade will be available online beginning August 1, 2025.

Christmas Holiday Showcase by Pearland Market Days

Grab your family and friends and head on over to our Pearland Market Days Christmas Holiday Showcase on Sunday December 3rd! We are an indoor and outdoor venue! This event will begin at 11am & go to till 5pm. The location is 2320 Hatfield Rd (Pearland KC Hall)

The event will also feature over 90 indoor and outdoor local and small businesses! We will have one hall inside to shop from. From clothing, to home décor, to cookies, bath products, candles, dog treats, custom cups, Scentsy, Colorstreet, baked goods, popcorn, hot sauces, wreaths, and so much more. There is something for everyone!

For the children we will have face painting and outdoor yard games- things like giant jenga and connect four. We also have a sensory table for our younger kids who aren’t old enough for the bigger games. Children will also have a chance to jump in our moonwalk.

We will have 5 food trucks on site to serve you a late lunch or if you are waiting for things to cool down then dinner! They will have a variety of fresh homemade foods and drinks for sale.
Inside there will be ice cold beer for sale. Things like Bud Light, Truly, Dos XX, and Smirnoff. All proceeds of bar sales will go back directly to the KC hall. They will also have light snacks and soda/water for sale.
Outdoors we have a giant pavilion for outdoor seating and a DJ. We will have tables and chairs set up but those are first come first serve and we expect them to go quickly.

The event features a large concrete parking lot for easy access to the building. We have an indoor and an outdoor entrance. Along with overflow parking in the grassy area behind the KC hall. Restrooms are located inside the large hall towards the back next to the stage & in the small hall to the right when you walk in.

We hope you will attend and tell your friends, family, and neighbors about the event. Our small businesses are counting on the public to help them stay in business.
