Voice your opinion at the Texas Department of Transportation FM 521 Public Hearing. The purpose of this hearing is to gather public input on the proposed reconstruction and expansion project regarding FM 521, spanning from Beltway 8 to 0.3 miles south of FM 2234. Exhibits of the proposed improvements, including its environmental constraint, will be shown. Representatives from the Texas Department of Transportation will also be available to answer questions from officials and residents.
 
The proposed project is part of an effort to reconstruct and widen the existing two-lane undivided road to a four-lane divided urban arterial. Additionally, this project will also propose grade separation at the Missouri Pacific Railroad crossing on FM 2234 and FM 521.
