The City of Pearland, Parks & Recreation encourages scouts to achieve Boy Scouts of America Eagle Rank or the Girl Scout Bronze, Silver or Gold Service Awards and is happy to assist in the development of projects.

Approved Projects List

Any scouting group or individual interested in undertaking an original project is welcome to include the proposed project on the application. Please submit a complete application a minimum of six weeks prior to the proposed start date. The application requires details about the project, including a project brief, the scope, the benefit to the community, a rough estimate of the time frame and required resources. Scout projects are available on a first-come basis. After the application has been reviewed, the candidate will be called within 10 business days and given the phone number of the staff member who will act as the project contact. The applicant must call the project contact to set up a meeting to discuss the details of the project.
