Pearland Mayor Tom Reid will deliver the annual State of the City address at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9 at the First Church located at 1850 Broadway in Pearland. 

Mayor Reid will provide his vision and insight for 2017 and beyond at the annual event. The City will host a live Twitter feed during the speech for viewers and residents to give feedback. Simply use #ptxstateofthecity on your posts to join in. 

Following the address, the mayor will be available for media interviews.  The address will be rebroadcast on Pearland TV (Comcast Ch. 16 and U-verse Ch. 99) daily at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. beginning Feb. 23 until March 31. The address will also be available on the city’s website. 

The ticketed event is open to the public and sponsored by the Pearland Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $30 for Chamber of Commerce members and $35 for prospective members. Visit pearlandchamber.com to purchase tickets.
