Hometown Christmas Festival

Date: Friday, Dec. 6, 2024

Time: 6 - 9 p.m.

Location: Independence Park, 3449 Pearland Parkway

Parking: General parking will be at Pearland Highschool (3775 S. Main)

and ADA parking available at the Independence Park Liberty Drive Entrance

Cost: Admission is Free

Feel the Christmas Spirit come alive as Pearland Parks & Recreation kicks off the Hometown Christmas Festival. Join us for an evening of stage entertainment, shopping, music, lights, inflatables, food trucks and much more! Our lively stage program will feature a visit from City Council, community leaders, Santa Claus and Mayor Cole as they come together to spread Christmas cheer for Pearlanders far and near.

Spend some time playing in the snow at the HEB Winter Wonderland and stick around for the magical Drone show presented by University of Houston Clear Lake at Pearland beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Hometown Christmas Parade

 

Date: Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024

Time: 6 p.m.

Location: FM 518 (Broadway), from Old Alvin Road to Pearland Parkway 

 

The City of Pearland is excited to host the 42nd annual Hometown Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 6 p.m. The evening parade brings out dozens of floats and walking groups decked out in lights and holiday spirit. Spectators will see marching drill teams, unique classic cars, dazzling floats and so much more!

2024 Parade Applications are CLOSED. 
   * Applications for the 2025 Hometown Christmas Parade will be available online beginning August 1, 2025.

Ed Thompson Inclusive Park - Groundbreaking

Please join us September 26th for a groundbreaking ceremony of the Ed Thompson Inclusive Park. This event will take place at the future sight of the inclusive playground located at The Shadow Creek Ranch Sports Complex (13050 Shadow Creek Pkwy).
