The Parks Recreation, Open Spaces  and Trail Master Plan serves as the basis for our strategic planning and involves organizational and community input to identify and come to agreement on the vision and values that support and guide our systems, structures, and strategies as a framework for organizational progress, ultimately to achieve results for the Pearland Community. As a general best practice and a requirement for certain grant awards, parks and recreation agencies are required to adopt an updated TPWD Compliant Master Plan to serve 5- year cycles.  In 2019, the City of Pearland engaged the expertise of Halff Associates to update the expiring 2015 Master Plan. The 2020 plan was adopted by Council in the January 11, 2021 meeting. Check out the sections of the plan below:
